I ended up changing calls to use cfinvoke, which seemed to solve the problem. Obviously there is no mode when not submitted with a "form" or added to the url as the code reveals. Same result in multiple browsers. This didn't work for me as the disks were taken as data disk. Do not change that by simply returning true - because then everyone can upload files. CKeditor 3 with free filemanager, now also for Coldfusion!
